Life, the Universe, and Everything.
(Mostly Harmless.)
Has been a rather unusual week...I went on date number one and date number two with a guy that I find to be extremely interesting. Still not quite sure about things...and I do still have some reservations and things I need to ask him about...but definitely interesting. I don't know if we'll get past "interesting", but it's definitely been a lot of fun.
Tonight should be fun, too, because my friend Erica is having her bachelorette party. I'll be excited to hang with the girls - a couple that I haven't seen in a while.
Yeah...really don't have much to report. I need to go iron (as always) and then dig my car out. I do love snow, but I think the worst part about winter is unearthing one's vehicle and then driving away while it's still tundra-like temperatures inside the car. Say hello to perpetually cold hands!
Was a fun week at work, though! Had some interesting surgeries...on Tuesday I had to do surgery on a dog that had eaten some turkey bones that weren't going to come out on their own. I swear, we could have re-assembled a miniature turkey from all the bones in that poor pooch's stomach. The newest doctor there scrubbed in with me to assist, which was definitely helpful and fun. And then the next day I scrubbed in with HIM while he removed a dog's spleen. Also fun!
(And messy...I made it through unscathed, but the other doc had to go home to change afterwards.) I felt like someone should have been humming the M*A*S*H theme song...he and I defnintely have some BJ-and-Hawkeye-esque vibes at work. We had to stop working at one point because we were laughing so hard. And both dogs are doing just fine, which is of course the important thing.
...And now I'm off...and maybe (maybe!) this Sunday I'll be going to see a man about a dog.
