Gotta love politics.  Has been very interesting watching this whole Blagojevich thing unfold.  I wasn't living in Illinois when he was elected, and I still consider Indiana to be my home state (you can take the girl out of the Hoosier...), so it's been pretty interesting.  Already there have been some "He said this!" "Whoa, do-over! We never said that!" flying around.  But I'm thinking chances are if someone says you said it, you probably said it.  

I guess this goes to show you should never elect someone who looks like they have a shaggy platypus sitting on top of their head.

Does anyone else think "Shaggy Platypus" would be an awesome name for a rock band?

Glad for a day off today!  Must vacuum (although I'm noticing a distinct advantage of having a puppy is that I quit being lazy about leaving things on the floor)  and run errands.  And go outside.  And inside.  And outside.  And inside. 

This is the first time I almost regret living on the second floor.
