I've got a bunch of books I want to read right now, and I want to read them all at once.  I'm in the middle of The Sea Hawk by Sabatini, which is super exciting - although I think I prefer the character of Peter Blood from Captain Blood over Sir Oliver from The Sea Hawk.  Both men are rather bitter and angsty (and understandably so after what they go through), but Sir Oliver is a lot more violent and vengeful.  Kind of mean-spirited, actually.  But Rosamund, the main female character, has a lot going for her and I hope she can help him find himself again.  One thing I've got to say about Sabatini, his female characters are pretty darn awesome, which kind of surprised me.  I really like Arabella from Captain Blood, too.  Even when these ladies need rescuing, they sure ain't no damsels in distress. 

Then there's Jane Eyre, which I've read before, but I just checked it out from the library again because my mom is reading it for the first time and I want to read it with her so we can talk about how fantastic it is.  And then my coworker recommended the Master and Commander series by O'Brian and I also checked out the first two when I went to the library today.

I think I'll probably start Jane Eyre tonight and keep reading The Sea Hawk during breaks at work.  I've made a lot of headway that way.
