Life, the Universe, and Everything.
(Mostly Harmless.)
Ahh, tomorrow's my day off! It's been awfully cold for June. Temps in the 60's. Not appreciated. Where's my summer?
I tucked Tumnus in for the night. That kid has two settings: off and HIGH! I'll take him for a 45 minute walk (and he's no dawdler), then he'll come back and run lightning-fast laps around my apartment. He doesn't get his attention by snuggling and cuddling, oh no. It's wrestling and attacking his chew toys. Or getting yelled at for trying to rip up my carpet, which is his newest phase. I think he wants to go into demolition when he grows up.
Oh yeah, he's a little boy, all right.
It's actually really cute, though - his OTHER latest phase is picking up sticks and carrying them when we're on walks. I think his record distance without putting the stick down is half a mile so far. It used to be a sporadic thing, but now it's becoming an obsession. I usually let him carry it unless he starts making it into a big issue. I'll need to take a picture of it sometime soon, because it's really funny. Actually, if I weren't so lazy, I'd post another picture of him now. Meh. Maybe tomorrow.
In other news, I did NOT like the way Deadliest Catch ended yesterday! And I am really worried about next week. I don't like it when these guys get hurt. Poor Captain Keith. And poor Phil! It really sucks that the Cornelia Marie is having all these mechanical problems, but then part of me wonders if maybe it would have been a good idea to check out the ship the week before?? At least, that's what I'd do. I'm glad to see Phil back, though.
