Hurrah for Vitamin D!

Day off, and yay, it's warm!  Warm-ish, anyway.  The weather has been horrible lately and it is so good to see some sunshine.

Tumnus has one more week left of obedience school.  Next week is "graduation".  Last night the instructor was talking about "points" and "first place".  Okay, well, that's new to me.  Wasn't aware this was a competition...  I'm not sure if the little noodlebrain will be able to get enough "points" to graduate, (he ain't gettin' first place, that's for sure) but I don't care.  He's really come a long way and I'm proud of him.  His biggest problem is that he's easily distracted and if he sees someone new he wants to be their very bestest friend.  So he has problems focusing, but he's friendly and outgoing, so I'm happy.  All the same, I wish it weren't some fake graduation thing.  Afton is NOT a competitive person.  I took my dog to get training tips, not to compare him to other people's pets.

I finished "The Eyes of the Dragon" and boy, I loved it!  King is a surprisingly good writer.  Don't konw what else I'll read by him, though.  I asked my coworker to make any recommendations that aren't going to creep me out, but he seemed to think there weren't that many.  I'm thinking of looking at his "Dark Tower" series, though, because it looks kind of interesting.  Every time I browse through a bookstore, I come across it.  My coworker didn't seem to think it was very good, though... has anyone else out there read it?
