Life, the Universe, and Everything.
(Mostly Harmless.)
Yay! 40 degrees this morning meant running outside! I was *very* glad, because I've had to start upping my mileage (yeah, I'm running the Indy half marathon again) and today was 6 miles. I know I'm not completely done with the treadmill for the year - it IS March in the Midwest, after all - but the light at the end of the tunnel is in view!
I made a "Hamlet" joke at work the other day that highly amused me and no one else...and now I can't remember what it was...
Tumnus had his first day of obedience school last night! He's very good at obeying me (most of the time) when we're alone and when he knows I have food, but we need to work on obeying when we're not alone and when I don't have food. He's the first puppy I've had to train (because Biscuit was perfect) so even though the methods they're using in obedience school aren't that different than what I've been doing, I'm glad to have the extra guidance.
Had a LOT of fun with Cami and Karen last weekend! We went to the planetarium, which was pretty cool, had tons of talk and catch-up time, ate a bunch of puppy chow and watched "Robin Hood: Men in Tights" because we think it's one of the funniest movies of all time.
I was very excited last week when I saw that "Moonlight" had been released on DVD. Kind of surprised me, but I guess if they're making box sets of "Golden Girls" and "Fresh Prince", they'll release anything. The price was good, too, so of course I bought it. I still don't know why I like that show so much. It's really not *that* good and it's kind of cheesy and a bunch of things really stretch the ol' logic receptors...but it's addicting. So I've been watching all kinds of vampirey goodness.
Now I can only hope they release the not-finished season 2 of "Pushing Daisies". Seriously, that was the best show ever.
And now...yeah. Bills, cleaning, grocery (because I have virtually NO food), obedience school homework, and I think I'll take Toodlebuns for a good long walk later...60 degrees, baby!
