My dorkiness is outside for all to see.   Today I was involved in a conversation that went something like this:

Receptionist: "Dr. Afton, do you have Some Random Dog's chart?"

Me: "No, this isn't the chart you're looking for." *pause* "These aren't the droids you're looking for." *waving hand in a Kenobi-esque manner*

Dr. J: *sputter*

Receptionist (who didn't quite hear what I said): "What happened?"

Dr. J: "She just made a geeky Star Wars joke."

Me: "Yeah, but you're laughing!"

Right now Tumnus is camped out in his fort, which means he's under my bed.  He really likes it down there, and he's so short that he barely has to army crawl.  I think he finally passed out for the night, so he's not going to like it when I oust him to take him to his crate.  Little does he know it's his last night at home for a while...the Padre and I are meeting up tomorrow and I'm handing over the Toodlemeister while I get ready to go out of town.  Am VERY excited for vacation next week!  I'm going to LA to visit my sister, than to Arizona to visit a friend and her new hubby.  Can't WAIT to get away...especially since we're supposed to get SNOW tomorrow!  Wrongness!
