Life, the Universe, and Everything.
(Mostly Harmless.)
Well, today was my seven mile run. I feel pretty good now, but I will be SO glad when I can finally run outside again. Am very tired of the treadmill. It was a little weird this morning, though...usually there's just me, maybe one other person in the fitness center at 6 AM. I got there just a little late today - maybe 6:20, but it's basically the same time - and there were five other people in there. I dunno. Maybe it's the full moon.
Tumnus is funny when I come back from running, though. He helps me cool down.
I let him out of his crate while I sit on my floor and stretch, and he rolls around so I can scratch his tummy. That dog sprawls on his back almost nonstop. Stubby little legs flappin' in the breeze and everything.
You know, my life would be a lot easier if people would realize that the reason their pet is still having problems is because they refuse to do what I recommend. Contrary to popular belief, I don't have a magic wand. Just thought I'd throw that out there.
Oh, speaking of magic wands, that reminds me! I came home last night and was just channel surfing and who do I see but RuPaul. I haven't heard about him since junior high, and even then he was just kind of a blip on the edge of my limited pop culture radar. So naturally I had to figure out what was going on and apparently he's been hosting some "America's Next Top Model"-ish thing for drag queens. So of course I ended up watching for a while because, really...drag queens. You really can't look away. Wow. I dunno, to each his own, but it was definitely weird to see a bunch of men referring to each other as "girls".
Don't get me wrong, it was incredibly funny...but still weird. I don't think I could be that chicky if I tried. I think I'd sprain something.
