Had a good weekend at home!  Tumnus is always super excited to see the fam and he just adores my dad so it was a nice field trip for him, too.  And my taxes are almost done now, so, bonus!

Man, yesterday was insane.  Not bad insane, just...insane.  I was so fried that I didn't even go dancing...I came home and spent some quality time with Tumminy-tum-tum, which he greatly appreciated.  He got a new toy last night, too (a hand-me-down from a co-worker's dog), so that just about made his day.

After six years, I am saddened to report the death of my stethoscope.   I was using it last week and thinking, "Geez, everything sounds kind of strange today..." and at the end of the day I discovered a crack in the tubing.  It's sort of on life support right now and it still works because I Macgyvered it by wrapping the crack in surgical tape (I know, I should have used duct tape, but it already looks sort of ghetto) but I really need to replace it.  I was thinking of upgrading anyway, but still.  I've had that puppy since my first year of vet school and I'm rather attached to it.

By the way, Liquid Plumr foaming pipe snake is the BEST INVENTION EVER.  My shower drain has been really slow lately and I've tried to remove the stopper so I could physically remove whatever clog was down there, but it wouldn't come off.  So after a bottle of Liquid Plumr gel followed by a bottle of the foaming pipe snake, my drain is running beee-yootifully.  So life is good.
