Holy mother of cheese curds but it is COLD out there!  The word "cold" doesn't even begin to describe the sensation one feels when one steps outside.  Yeah, the high today was -1.  It's -8 right now and the wind chill is -30.  Yeek!!

The only bright side (if you can call it that) is that I don't have to go out in it any more.  The Padre and Bro came up today to take Tumnus with them for the week while I'm gone.  So even though it'll be nice not to run outside every couple hours, I still kind of miss the little guy already.  I was planning to leave him at work while I was gone, but the Padre asked if he could come up and get him.  So I wasn't going to say no.   He's such an awesome dad.

Now I need to make a list of what to pack before I can start packing.  If I don't make a list, I'm going to be constantly paranoid that I forgot something.  Orlando, here I come!  It's supposed to be mid-60's and sunny all week.  I don't think I remember how to dress for that kind of weather...
