Happy New Year!

I had a blast last night...got together with some of the crew from undergrad.  It was so much fun!  We laughed and ate from 7:00 until 2 AM.  Tumnus stayed with my parents overnight, which he really enjoyed.

Got back today and I am happy to announce a breakthrough in pooch/person communication!  Tumnus asked to go out!  TWICE!!   Yay!  I think he realized he had to start acting smart now that he's given away that he's not as airheaded as he pretends to be.  The other day when we got home from work, I asked him if he wanted some dinner.  Now, I've used that word a couple times, but not much...it's not nearly as popular as "go potty?" "sit" or the ever popular "NO!!".  Well, Toodles trotted right off to the kitchen to wait for me.  Ah-HA!   Cat's out of the bag NOW, little dude.  I knew he had a functional brain somewhere between those fuzzy ears.

We're just relaxing this afternoon...cleaning and watching the "Monk" and "Mythbusters" marathons.  And I'm going to spend the rest of the day convincing myself that it is truly Thursday, not Sunday.
